2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

Login and personal data entry areas are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user's computer and can only be read on the destination server.

Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator holding the key can read it. Thanks to this, the data is protected in the event of the database being stolen from the server.

The operator periodically changes their administrative passwords.

To protect data, the Operator regularly creates backups.

An essential element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator for the processing of personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.

3. Hosting

The service is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator's servers: dhosting.pl

4. Your rights and additional information on how data is used

In certain situations, the Data Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or to fulfil obligations incumbent upon the Data Controller. This applies to the following categories of recipients:

Your personal data will be processed by the Administrator for no longer than is necessary to perform the activities related to them specified in separate regulations (e.g. regarding accounting). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

You have the following rights in connection with our processing of your data:

  1. the right of access to your personal data, including the right to information about your personal data and to obtain a copy of your personal data,
  2. the right to the rectification of personal data if they are inaccurate and the right to have incomplete data completed,
  3. right to erasure of personal data,

the right to withdraw any consent at any time without giving a reason and without affecting the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the operation of the service.

5. Information in the forms

7. Key marketing techniques

The operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The operator does not transfer personal data to the provider of this service, but only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user's end device. Regarding information on user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information derived from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology allows the Facebook service (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) to know that a given person registered on it is using the Website. In this case, it relies on data for which it is the administrator itself; the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data from its end to the following services: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube. The service relies on the use of cookies on the user's terminal device.

The operator uses a solution that analyses user behaviour by creating heatmaps and recording on-site behaviour. This information is anonymised before being sent to the service operator so that they do not know which natural person it relates to. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.

The Operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Website in relation to users, e.g. it may send an email to a user after they visit a specific subpage, provided that they have consented to receiving commercial correspondence from the Operator.

8. Information about cookies

The website uses cookies.

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Service User's terminal equipment and are intended for use with the Service's websites. Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the terminal equipment, and a unique number.

The entity that places cookies on the End User's terminal equipment and gains access to them is the operator of the Website.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

maintenance of the user session of the Website (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on every subpage of the Website;

fulfilling the purposes specified above in the "Key Marketing Techniques" section;

Two main types of cookies are used within the Service: "session cookies" and "persistent cookies." Session cookies are temporary files stored on the User's terminal equipment until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the software (web browser). Persistent cookies remain stored on the User's terminal equipment for the duration specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

Web browsing software (web browser) typically allows the storage of cookies on the User's terminal equipment by default. Users of the Service can modify these settings at any time. The web browser allows for the deletion of cookies, as well as the automatic blocking of cookie files. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the help section or documentation of your web browser.

Disabling or restricting the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities available on the Website.

Cookies placed on the Service User's terminal equipment may also be used by third-party partners cooperating with the Service operator, in particular: Google (Google LLC, based in the USA), Meta / Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc., based in the USA), and X / Twitter (X Corp., based in the USA).

9. Managing Cookies – How to Grant and Withdraw Consent in Practice
