Haitian Injection Molding Machines Up Close: Our Visit to the Factory in Serbia

At the invitation of Haitian and Mapro Polska, we visited Haitian’s European injection molding machine manufacturing facility in Serbia. For us, this was a particularly meaningful trip, as the majority of the machines we rely on daily for our contract injection molding operations come from this very manufacturer.

Inside the Haitian Factory in Serbia

From the outside, the sheer scale of the facility is immediately striking. Inside, the most compelling aspects only emerge up close: streamlined production, high-level automation, and meticulous attention to detail at every assembly stage. We had the chance to see the latest injection molding machines in operation, consult directly with the engineering team, and address practical technical questions rooted in our own daily shop-floor experience.

Our visit coincided with a special milestone, as Haitian celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Having been in business ourselves since 1984, we know firsthand the dedication, hard work, and resilience behind a milestone of that caliber.

We would like to thank Haitian and Mapro Polska for the invitation and the excellent organization throughout the visit.

Why Do We Rely on Haitian Machines in Our Molding Facility?

Our manufacturing facility in Włynkówko near Słupsk operates 21 injection molding machines, the vast majority of which are Haitian. This is no coincidence. Over the years, we have run equipment from various machine builders, allowing us to evaluate and compare their real-world performance on the factory floor, rather than on paper in a sales catalog.

We value two things above all:

  • Precision, meaning repeatable parts cycle after cycle, with zero surprises in dimensions or quality.
  • Reliability, meaning machines that simply do the work, ensuring agreed client deadlines are met every time.

In custom plastic injection molding, both are equally critical. That’s why, as we continue to expand our machinery fleet, we consistently choose Haitian.

5th Generation Haitian—So Where Was the Fourth?

Our largest machine boasts 550 tons of clamping force and belongs to Haitian’s 5th generation of injection molding machinery. As for the fourth generation? It simply never existed. In Chinese culture, the number four is considered unlucky because its pronunciation sounds almost identical to the word for "death," prompting the manufacturer to skip it entirely. For the very same reason, many Chinese buildings do not even have a fourth floor.

However, the 5th generation is about much more than just a number. It brings a host of upgrades, with energy efficiency being the most tangible advantage in our day-to-day operations. These machines consume noticeably less power compared to older designs. With today’s energy prices, that makes a tangible difference—directly benefiting our clients' production costs as well.

Plastic Injection Molding Services: What We Offer

High-grade machinery is the foundation, but what truly matters is knowing how to get the most out of it. Visits like this help us stay at the forefront of injection molding technology and make well-informed investments in our machinery fleet. As a result, we can offer:

  • Consistent part quality, even across large production runs,
  • On-time delivery backed by a dependable machinery fleet,
  • A wide manufacturing scope, from small components to large parts molded on our 550-ton machine,
  • Technical consulting and end-to-end support in sourcing injection molds, including procurement from China,
  • Custom part printing (pad printing, hot stamping),
  • Kitting and assembly of finished products.
